Individual Therapy
How it works
Let’s take a look at things from your perspective.
How often do you get to take time out in a safe, compassionate space with someone who is really listening to you? Someone you won’t be seeing in a social situation, so you can speak openly without worrying about confidentiality or judgement.
I won’t tell you what to do. The goal is to help you find your own answers.
What I will do is listen, ask curious questions, and challenge gently when needed.
Individual Therapy
What I can help with
People come to individual therapy for many different reasons. You may be struggling with something specific, or simply feel that something in your life needs to change.
I work with a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, stress, low self-esteem and confidence, relationship and family difficulties, separation and divorce, bereavement and loss, people-pleasing and boundaries, intrusive thoughts, anger and difficult emotions, and concerns around sex and intimacy.
I also work with people who find themselves repeating the same patterns in relationships or who want to understand themselves, their experiences and their relationships more deeply.
You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong before you come to therapy. We can work that out together.

Sessions & Fees
My therapy room is a quiet, tranquil space in Bourne End where you step back from the day-to-day. I also offer online sessions if you prefer.
To begin, we’ll talk about what’s troubling you and what you’d like to get out of therapy. Therapy works best when it’s consistent, so we’ll meet on a weekly basis at a time that you can commit to.
The relationship you have with your therapist is crucial. It’s important that you feel comfortable with me. I offer a free 15-minute call so that you can get a feel for me and decide whether I’m the right therapist for you.
Fees: £90 per 50-min session.
