Why work with me?

I’m Juliet, a Counsellor and Psychotherapist for individuals and couples, based in Bourne End.

I’ve been practising as a psychotherapist since 2014, after leaving behind a successful career in the corporate world.

I’ve always been the reliable one, the fixer, the person who gets stuff done. Somewhere along the way, I became increasingly fascinated by human behaviour. Life can be wonderful, but it can also be complex and painful. I found myself drawn to helping others navigate life’s challenges, so I left the corporate ladder behind and trained as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

Now, I pour my pragmatism into helping others to uncover their own solutions, often ones that have been there all along.

I firmly believe that everything in life comes down to the quality of our relationships. Whether that’s our relationships with others, our relationships to the world around us, or our relationships with ourselves.

When people clear out what they no longer need, they can pave a new way forward, enjoying fulfilled, joyful, and connected lives.

Psychotherapy is a continuously evolving field. You can be assured I’m up to date with the latest research, and my integrative approach means I will provide you with the most appropriate and effective help for what you need right now.
